Overview
Reporting arguments are usually definition arguments. Marketing counts a customer one way, finance another, and both are working from a different export. We build a warehouse on Postgres or Snowflake, load your sources on a schedule, and model them in dbt so a term like active customer is defined once, in version control, with a test that fails loudly when the data breaks. Documentation is generated from the models themselves, which means it stays current instead of rotting in a shared drive.
